Due to continued growth and development of the company, Philip Parmenter – Managing Director, appointed 3 new people to support projects predominantly in the UK and Germany:
Paul Stidworthy has just been appointed as Business Development Manager. Stidworthy was previously Business Unit Director at a Medical Device company.
Christopher Newman, former Moulding Process Engineer at Becton Dickinson started at AST as a Process & Training Engineer in April 2013.
Adam Clitherow was appointed as a Process & Training Engineer in October 2012. Clitherow has previously worked at Elster Metering Ltd and Bespak.
The Process and Training Engineers will in the main provide support to customers in the characterisation and optimisation of injection moulding processes for new tools but also in resolving problems on existing mould tools.
Piotr Smukowski, Business Manager-EMEA at Listgrove Ltd, specialist provider of recruitment and HR services to the Plastics, Packaging, Petrochemical and Chemical sectors has been commissioned to undertake the recruitment projects and fulfilled the demanding exercise within 6 months. Parmenter would certainly work with Listgrove again and provides the following testimony: “They helped us from the initial definition of the role right through the process until new recruits were hired and on-boarded.
