AGI extends print offering to lenticulars

Lenticular imaging has become popular over the past few years, as a way to enhance brand identity and create special effects interest in items like stadium cups and movie themed cups for theater promotionals. Now, AGI-World, a supplier of media packaging for CDs and DVDs to the home entertainment industry, has announced another addition to its wide range of print capabilities: lenticulars.

AGI currently serves a variety of home entertainment companies including Universal Studios, 20th Century Fox, Sony and HBO. To further reinforce its commitment to this market with relevant packaging solutions, AGI has adopted this print technology which utilizes a magnifying plastic lens, creating an illusion of depth thus giving the printed image a real 3D effect without glasses.
